Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to improving access to OQ Market Analytics websites, dashboards, account features, billing information, and support resources.
OQ MARKET ANALYTICS LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("OQ Market Analytics," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to making its websites, subscription services, dashboards, account features, billing information, support resources, and related digital content accessible to people with disabilities.
This Accessibility Statement applies to services available through:
https://obsessedquant.com https://alerts.obsessedquant.com
- These services are collectively referred to as the "Service."
1. OUR COMMITMENT
We seek to provide customers with disabilities meaningful access to the information, features, and services we offer online.
We recognize that customers may access the Service using assistive technologies or alternative input methods, including:
- Screen readers
- Screen magnification software
- Voice-recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Switch devices
- Alternative pointing devices
- Browser zoom
- High-contrast settings
- Text-to-speech software
We are working to identify and reduce barriers that may interfere with use of the Service.
2. ACCESSIBILITY STANDARD
Our goal is to make the Service reasonably conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or WCAG, Version 2.2, Level AA.
WCAG is developed by the World Wide Web Consortium and provides a shared technical standard for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.[1][2]
This goal does not mean that every page, feature, document, dashboard, or third-party component currently satisfies every WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criterion.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and conformance may vary across different portions of the Service.
3. ACCESSIBILITY PRACTICES
Where reasonably possible, we seek to use accessibility practices such as:
- Semantic HTML
- Logical heading structures
- Descriptive page titles
- Keyboard-accessible navigation
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Sufficient text and interface contrast
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Labels for form fields and controls
- Meaningful link text
- Consistent navigation
- Responsive layouts
- Support for browser zoom
- Readable text spacing
- Tables with identifiable headers
- Error messages that do not rely only on color
- Status messages that can be understood by assistive technology
- Reduced dependence on color alone
- Avoidance of unnecessary flashing or rapidly moving content
We also seek to preserve basic access when JavaScript, images, custom fonts, or certain visual effects are unavailable, where reasonably practical.
4. DASHBOARD ACCESSIBILITY
The Service includes market-analytics dashboards containing tables, classifications, calculations, rankings, and other data-intensive content.
We seek to make these dashboards usable through:
- Keyboard navigation
- Logical content order
- Semantic section headings
- Readable table headers
- Horizontal scrolling where necessary
- Text-based data presentation
- Adequate color contrast
- Text labels in addition to color cues
- Browser zoom
- Responsive display behavior
Some dashboards may contain wide tables or large amounts of financial information that are more difficult to navigate on small screens or with certain assistive technologies.
We may provide an alternative format or reasonable assistance when a dashboard cannot be effectively accessed in its standard presentation.
5. COLOR AND VISUAL PRESENTATION
The Service may use colors to help distinguish:
- Buy and sell classifications
- Rankings
- Risk levels
- Highlighted values
- Market regimes
- Warnings
- Status indicators
We seek not to rely on color as the only method of communicating important information.
Where reasonably possible, color-coded information is also communicated through text, labels, headings, symbols, position, or other visual distinctions.
Customers who have difficulty distinguishing colors may contact us for assistance or an alternative explanation of displayed information.
6. KEYBOARD ACCESS
We seek to make interactive controls accessible using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.
Keyboard users should generally be able to:
- Move through links and controls
- Activate buttons
- Open account and billing features
- Navigate forms
- Reach primary page content
- Use sortable tables where supported
- Access legal and support links
- Sign in and sign out
Some third-party components may have keyboard behavior controlled by the applicable third-party provider.
7. SCREEN-READER ACCESS
We seek to support commonly used screen readers through semantic HTML and properly labeled controls.
Screen-reader experiences may vary based on:
- Browser
- Operating system
- Screen-reader version
- Device
- Page complexity
- Third-party components
- User configuration
Data tables may be especially complex because they contain many columns and rows.
Customers who experience difficulty reading or navigating a dashboard table may request assistance or an alternative format.
8. TEXT RESIZING AND ZOOM
The Service is designed to support common browser text-resizing and zoom functions.
Customers may use browser controls to enlarge text or page content.
At high zoom levels:
Tables may require horizontal scrolling. Navigation may move into a compact layout. Some content may be displayed vertically rather than horizontally. Certain third-party pages may behave differently.
We seek to avoid unnecessary loss of information or functionality when content is enlarged.
9. MOBILE ACCESSIBILITY
We seek to support access from desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
Mobile accessibility may depend on:
- Screen size
- Operating system
- Browser
- Device accessibility settings
- Orientation
- Zoom level
- Third-party applications
Wide analytical tables may be easier to review on a larger display.
Mobile users may need to scroll horizontally to reach all table columns.
10. FORMS AND ACCOUNT CONTROLS
We seek to provide clear labels, instructions, and error messages for forms and account controls.
These may include:
- Sign-in controls
- Subscription-selection controls
- Checkout links
- Billing-portal links
- Support forms
- Consent controls
- Cancellation controls
Customers should not be required to identify an error based only on color.
Where reasonably possible, error messages will explain what information must be corrected.
11. AUTHENTICATION THROUGH AUTH0
We use Auth0 to provide authentication and identity-management services.
The accessibility of Auth0-hosted login, signup, password-reset, and account-verification interfaces is partly controlled by Auth0.
A customer who encounters an accessibility barrier during authentication should contact us and describe:
- The page or action involved
- The assistive technology being used
- The browser and device
- The error or barrier encountered
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate or provide another method of assistance.
12. PAYMENT AND BILLING THROUGH STRIPE
We use Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Billing Portal to process payments and manage subscriptions.
The accessibility of Stripe-hosted pages is partly controlled by Stripe.
These pages may include:
- Checkout
- Payment-method entry
- Invoice review
- Billing history
- Subscription cancellation
- Payment-method updates
A customer who cannot complete a billing or cancellation action because of an accessibility barrier should contact us.
We will provide reasonable assistance while maintaining account-security and identity-verification requirements.
13. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES
The Service relies on or links to third-party services, which may include:
- Auth0
- Stripe
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure Front Door
- SendGrid
- Pushover
- Market-data providers
- Documentation websites
- External financial resources
We do not control every accessibility feature of third-party content or services.
Although we encourage accessible third-party experiences, we cannot guarantee that every third-party page, application, document, or service will conform to our accessibility goals.
14. DOCUMENTS AND DOWNLOADABLE FILES
The Service may provide or link to documents or downloadable files, including:
- HTML pages
- CSV files
- Text files
- Reports
- Receipts
- Invoices
- Legal policies
- Support materials
Some older or third-party documents may not be fully accessible.
Upon request, we will make reasonable efforts to provide important content in another accessible format.
15. ACCESSIBILITY OF MARKET DATA
Market data may be presented using:
- Tables
- Numerical values
- Labels
- Percentages
- Dates
- Rankings
- Directions
- Regime classifications
- Highlighted cells
We seek to include the underlying values as text rather than communicating information only through graphics or color.
Where a visual presentation is difficult to interpret, customers may request a text explanation or another reasonable format.
16. KNOWN OR POTENTIAL LIMITATIONS
Potential accessibility limitations may include:
- Wide dashboard tables
- Large numbers of data columns
- Sortable tables that require additional screen-reader testing
- Third-party Auth0 interfaces
- Third-party Stripe interfaces
- Color gradients used for analytical highlighting
- Older pages developed before current accessibility practices
- Pages generated automatically by data pipelines
- External links and documents
- Limited support for very old browsers or assistive technologies
The presence of a known or potential limitation does not mean that every user will encounter that limitation.
17. CONTINUING IMPROVEMENT
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
We may review and improve the Service through:
- Automated accessibility testing
- Manual keyboard testing
- Screen-reader testing
- Color-contrast review
- Mobile testing
- Code review
- Customer feedback
- Remediation of identified barriers
- Review of new features before release
Automated testing alone cannot identify every accessibility issue.
Customer feedback is an important part of our accessibility efforts.
18. REPORTING AN ACCESSIBILITY BARRIER

We may require reasonable identity verification before:
- Discussing account-specific information
- Changing a subscription
- Canceling a subscription
- Providing billing records
- Changing account details
- Deleting an account
- Providing personal information
Accessibility needs do not require a customer to disclose unnecessary medical information.
23. ACCESSIBILITY AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION
The Service contains informational market analytics.
An accessibility accommodation does not change the informational nature of the Service and does not create:
- An investment-advisory relationship
- A broker-client relationship
- A fiduciary relationship
- A recommendation to trade
- A guarantee of financial results
Customers remain responsible for independent financial decisions.
24. SUPPORTED TECHNOLOGIES
The Service is generally intended for use with current versions of major browsers.
Accessibility may be reduced when using:
- Outdated browsers
- Unsupported operating systems
- Disabled browser features
- Incompatible extensions
- Very old assistive technology
- Custom settings that conflict with page operation
Customers should keep browsers and assistive technologies reasonably current where possible.
25. ACCESSIBILITY FEEDBACK
We welcome feedback concerning:
- Keyboard navigation
- Screen-reader use
- Color contrast
- Text size
- Mobile layouts
- Forms
- Dashboard tables
- Authentication
- Checkout
- Billing
- Cancellation
- Legal documents
- Support communications
Feedback helps us identify barriers that may not be detected through automated or internal testing.
26. NO GUARANTEE OF COMPLETE CONFORMANCE
We aim to improve accessibility, but we do not represent that every portion of the Service will always be fully conformant with every accessibility standard.
Accessibility may be affected by:
- Third-party technology
- Rapidly changing content
- Automatically generated dashboards
- Browser differences
- Assistive-technology differences
- Temporary technical problems
- Legacy content
- Undue technical or administrative difficulty
This statement is not intended to reduce or limit any accessibility obligation imposed by applicable law.
27. UNITED STATES ACCESSIBILITY LAW
The United States Department of Justice has stated that the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to goods, services, privileges, and activities offered on the web by businesses that are places of public accommodation.[3]
The Department of Justice also recognizes that businesses have flexibility in how they make online programs, goods, and services accessible.[3]
The application of accessibility law to a particular business or website depends on the circumstances and applicable jurisdiction.
Nothing in this Statement is intended as a legal conclusion concerning the application of a particular statute to OQ Market Analytics.
